Unwanted pop ups are screens that come up when you're browsing Web pages internet. Because they are so annoying, popup blockers are common on most browsers.

When you click on a link to intentionally open a web page in a new window, you are requesting a wanted popup. You will do this when downloading your designs. The problem is that most popup-blockers interfere with wanted and unwanted pop ups. For that reason, they may need to be turned off prior to downloading your designs.

However, in most instances simply pressing and holding the "Ctrl-" (or MAC Command Key) key as you click on a download link will work perfectly.

If that does not work, you may need to temporarily turn off your popup-blocker. How do you turn them off? First you have to find them. Here are some of the common ones:

AOL
  1. Click "Settings" on the AOL toolbar.

  2. Click "Pop-Ups" in the "Essentials" tab.

  3. In the "Web Pop-Ups" tab of the "Pop-Up Control Settings" window, select "Allow Web pop-ups from these sites" from the available options.

  4. Enter "http://www.rawclipart.com" and click "Add". Click "Save".
Yahoo
  1. Press and hold the "Ctrl" (or Mac Command Key) key while clicking a link to override Pop-Up Blocker and allow any popup windows resulting from the click.

  2. Turn off Pop-Up Blocker by clicking on the Pop-Up Blocker menu and un-checking the "Enable Pop-Up Blocker" option.

  3. Add the source of the popup window to your "Allowed List" by clicking the Pop-Up Blocker menu and selecting "Always Allow Pop-Ups From...". Then select "www.rawclipart.com" from the "Sources of Recently Blocked Pop-Ups" list and click "Allow."
Google

  1. To let a popup through on a one-time basis, press and hold the "Ctrl-" (or MAC Command Key) key as you click on a download link.

  2. The Google popup blocker can also remember certain sites (like www.rawclipart.com) and allow them to launch popup windows. This will allow you to have popup blocker enabled for all other web sites that are not listed as exceptions. To add www.rawclipart.com to your list of permitted sites, point your web browser to the www.rawclipart.com home page (http://www.rawclipart.com).

Once you are on this page, click on the popup blocker button (e.g. Goolge) in the Google Toolbar. When you do so, the popup blocker button will change to notify you that pop ups are now allowed from the site that you are currently viewing (Google).

  3. To completely disable the popup blocker, click the "Options" button in the Google Toolbar (Google) and un-check the checkbox next to "Popup Blocker" in the "Navigation" section. If you do not see an "Options" button on the Google Toolbar, click on the Google logo button (Google) and select "Options..." from the resulting drop-down menu.
